WINNING GEOMETRY
The 901 uses the same magic numbers for geometry as the award winning 905 and even the top of the line 19 titanium. We believe in delivering the same high level of performance across all price levels of the Whyte range.
ALLOY FRAME
Hydroformed custom drawn and multi butted, we use only the best grades of aluminium for the ultimate refinement of an aluminium frame
19 DROPOUT
The Whyte 19 CNC adjustable dropouts allow the user to easily adjust the geometry and wheel base of the bike – the chainstays can be adjusted from 415mm to 435mm. Bike can be run singlespeed, and dropouts are easily replaced in the unlikely event of damage due to accident.
MAXLE LITE
All the convenience of a quick release, but with the stiffness and security benefits of a 20mm through axle. With minimum weight penalty its completely tool free.

What Mountain Bike- November 09

The Whyte 905 has won What Mountain Bike’s ‘Long forked hardtails’ test. They say “For pure performance and versatility it’s definitely worth maxing your credit on the Whyte 905: it’s now lighter and faster and even more fun whatever trail you point it down. Considering the price hikes of most models, it’s decent value too.”.

MBR - April 09

The Whyte 19 Trail Titanium is the bike made by NASA's experts Litespeed in the US - but it's still wholly designed in the UK for the tough Brit market and conditions.

Whyte has definitely raised the bar with this bike and hasn't fallen into the trap of just making a titanium race bike. This is a once in-a-lifetime purchase and you are getting a superbly crafted piece of kit.

What Mountain Bike - January 09

Whyte's 905 is our clear winner!

The stiffer front is the perfect platform for the Reba fork, creating a bike that loves to be pushed hard in technical situations. The mid-travel fork and confident geometry keep it predictable on all terrain. Add low weight, responsive wheels and a good power kick and you're ready to race. But the compliant rear end means it will cruise all day too. Its quality kit and competitive price make this a superb all-round hardtail.

What Mountain Bike - April 08

In terms of frame and handling, the light, laid-back yet agile 905 is the best bike here. It has the natural aptitude and attitude to tackle anything from XC racing and spic wilderness rides to techy singletrack and it will instantly flatter whatever skills and fitness yu have. Howevr good the framer and other bits are, though, the Recon fork definitely makes it look a very average deal in terms of value.

Singletrack - December 08

In the gaudy and hyped-up world of modern mountain bikes the hardtail Whyte 19 came as a refreshing palette cleanser. A genuine all-rounder: very capable at everything I threw at it without ever feeling like a compromise. If I had to choose the fabled 'one-bike-for-everything' it would be the Whyte 19.
