| QUAD-LINK II |
 |
| Takes all the simplicity and low weight benefits of a single pivot design to keep the bike totally rideable and reliable in the worst conditions you can throw at it. At the same time it removes all the inevitable compromises with carefully created controllable wheel paths and variable shock leverage ratios to maximise your control and enjoyment. |
| GETTA GRIPPER |
 |
| Whytes unique quick release seat clamp doesn't have a slot, but instead uses a pad pressing through a window in the frame, for a lower clamping pressure while holding the seatpost secure. Approved by Easton for their carbon seatposts, the Getta Grip system is fast, secure and doesn't allow mud and dirt into the seat tube like a traditional slot. |
| BIG GRIPPER |
 |
| Whyte designs unique system, allows any rear wheel or hub to be converted to a through axle for extra stiffness and security, whist still allowing rapid wheel removal. Utilising 360 degree clamps the Big Gripper holds the rear wheel securely for improved handling and rear wheel tracking. |
| QR15 |
 |
| New quick release through axle combines the stiffness and security of a large bolt-through axle, but with the low weight and convenience of a quick release. Completly tool free. |

Dirt 100 - The Best Products of 2009
Welcome to the lightweight future, because this bike rides like the wind.
Its laterally laid carbon fibres, twenty four spoke wheels and XTR groupset all add up to less...weight that is. Very simply a bike for getting from A to B in the fastest possible time, it definitely has its place. The 120 is certainly most at home on flowing natural singletrack, climbs effortlessly, but the most important factor is that the Whyte has been designed with one eye on the descents too.A lightweight singletrack skimmer. |

What Mountain Bike - October 08
Meet the 2009 Whyte E-120:the flagship trail bike that thinks it's an XC racer. The E-120 has been around for two seasons and has carved out a reputation for being an exceptionally capable trail bike - and one that also likes nothing more than a chance to prove its pedigree on the race track or in enduro events.
The E-120 is more than the sum of its parts, but even if you merely add up the sum of its parts, that asking price just melts away. |

Shift - 01
UK brand Whyte has a reputation for innovation and the new E-120 looks set to bring Whyte serious mainstream appeal.
Carbon fibre everything, 120mm travel, 24lb and stout with it - Whyte's E-120 raises the bar to somewhere in the ionosphere. |

Mountain Biking UK - June 08
The Whyte E-120 Team - bridges the gap between XC and all-mountain. The sculpted carbon aesthetics of the E-120 make alu frames look industrial by comparison. Multi-monococque unidirectional carbon fibre sections blend beautifully to form a minimalist but purposeful-looking whole.
The Whyte E-120 stole the top spot on my shortlist from a number of other excellent bikes and it's the fact that it can handle both XC and DH that made it my pick of the bunch. |

Mail on Sunday - May 08
With a price nudging £3,000, the E-120 isn't cheap. But it is fast enough to win races, tough enough to tackle the worst Britain can throw at it and can climb hills like a goat and descend like a demon. In the hotly contested do-it-all trail bike category, it is the current top dog. Click Here |

What Mountain Bike, Buyers Guide - May 08
The new Whyte E-120 all-carbon, full suspension came out as second behind the popular Mt Vis as Top of the Pops in terms of best trail full susser above £2000. Steve described it as 'one of the lightest 120mm travel bikes I've ever ridden'. |

What Mountain Bike - March 08
We really liked the first generation Whyte E-5 but its performance on high-speed bumps left something to be desired. Its E-120 full-carbon offspring redefines the E family and, in the process, sets a new benchmark for lightweight full suspension bikes.
It's become an advertising cliché to say that bikes are as much fun on the ups as they are on the downs. The E-120 spiel doesn't actually say that, but the bike comes closer to the ideal than anything else currently available.
Light but tough, expensive and yet brilliant value, this new E bike from Whyte is stunning. |
