Whyte's UK design team are always looking for new ways to reduce weight, increase stiffness and improve performance. This year we've adopted two new technologies worthy of note.

Firstly we've ditched the old fashioned quick release hub on all our Trail bikes including the E-120 range and the 19 Trail , 19 Steel, 905, 901 and 19 Titanium - and replaced it with either FOX's 15QR or RockShox Maxle Light adding up to 25% increase in stiffness, improving wheel tracking and handling without a weight penalty and yet maintaining rider friendly rapid wheel removal.

Secondly we've started to use the New Maxle Light on the rear of our suspension Trail Bikes. Featuring on the E-120S and the E-120 XX works – we’re using the new improved version of the rear Maxle for additional security and stiffness – but as with the front Maxle, still maintaining a prompt and convenient wheel removal.
