FAQs

"Can I buy my Whyte directly from Whyte or ATB Sales?"

We are committed to supporting our dealer network throughout the UK, and as such we never supply bikes directly. You will always get a better level of service and can get good advice about sizing and the right type of bike, in addition to safe bike set up and ongoing maintenance. To find your local dealer please click HERE.

"I've had a major crash on my bike, I don't know if its alright – what should I do?"

Firstly you should stop riding your bike, and take it to your local Whyte dealer for evaluation. The dealer should be able to inspect your bike to make sure its ok, or offer you advice what to do next if you've damaged a major part of the bike. Never ride your bike if you have any doubts about its strength.

"I think I've got a problem with my bike, that I think should be sorted under warranty - what should I do?"

You should take your bike to your local Whyte dealer for evaluation and inspection. The dealer should be able to advise if it is warranty or not. Should it be a warranty problem we are committed to resolving your problem as quickly and efficiently as possible.

"Where can I test ride one of those Whyte bikes ?"

Almost all Whyte dealers will have at least one Demo bike. Please call into your local dealer and discuss a test ride with them. Sometimes we are able to publish details or some organised test riders in partnership with a local Whyte dealer on the DEALER part of this website.

"I need a replaceable hanger for my Whyte Bike"

Most Whyte dealers will carry stocks of the replaceable dropout hangers we use on the Whyte models. If not they can order one from us.

"What size of bike do I need?"

The best place to find out what size of bike is right for you is your local Whyte dealer. He will be able to take into account your size, your proportions, what style of bike you want and the usage you want to put it to. The dealer may also have stock of a bike for you to try for size. It is almost impossible to give accurate advice by email or telephone

"Can I buy Whyte frames ?"

Yes you can ! We have a limited range of frames available for 2009 season, all available through your local Whyte dealer. Please click HERE for more information.

"What Car rack will suit my Whyte ?"

We do not specifically recommend any rack, there are so many types and combinations it is impossible for us to check them all. We prefer racks that will hold the bikes by the wheels and support the bike by the side (such as roof mounted racks or towbar mounted racks). Please ensure the rack will not require excessive force to clamp the frame – this especially applies to carbon frames.

"What shock length do I need for my Whyte model"

We will hopefully be adding this information to the technical part of the website shortly. In the meantime please contact your local Whyte dealer for advice.

"I need a spare part, how much is it?"

Please contact your local Whyte dealer for price and availability for all parts and accessorie.
