Whyte racer Billy Whenman has climbed to fourth place Elite Rider in the UK on his Whyte 19 Carbon dream machine and is ranked first in the under 23 category.  It was a mixed weekend for the boy wonder from Gravesend with two wins on short track and then a mechanical failure with a chain snap that robbed him of a win against Olympian Liam Kileen in the big race on Sunday. The plucky racer battled through more than 100 places but got stuck in singletrack behind slower riders and it all ended in frustration. So what was his plan?
